Australia is among a few countries who dealt with the COVID-19 pandemic very well. They controlled the public gatherings right from the beginning and imposed heavy fines on those who violates the Corona Virus Pandemic SOPs.
Now, recently Australian government decided to open the borders of Western Australia and South Australia. This decision reunites the families who were not able to meet each other for almost a year.
With this positive side of the decision, there are a few problems as well. According to the health department of Western Australia there are 3 new positive COVID-19 cases are reported on December 28th.
Now the total COVID-19 cases are 858 in the state of WA. A total of 834 people are recovered after the quarantine period whereas, the health department of WA is monitoring 15 active cases of Covid-19.
Among 3 new cases there are two women and a man. The age of the male patient is in 40's while the one woman is in 50's and the other is in her 20's. All these three cases have overseas travelling history in recent days.
All these three patients are now in quarantine center in the Western Australia. The Health Department of WA has requested the people to follow the SOPs while they are in the public places.
According to the Western Australia's health department, total 870 people visited the COVID clinics in WA to get tested for the Corona virus. Out of these, 868 people were tested negative and they returned back while two people were tested positive for COVID 19.
